Some sellers carry a Community Partner badge. Here is exactly what it means — and, just as importantly, what it doesn't.
What the badge means
Community Partners are typically well-known creators and/or builders in the PC, gaming, and technology space we work with directly. The badge is a statement about our relationship with them, and we show it so that relationship is visible to you.
Every purchase on SiliconExchange is covered by the same buyer protection, whether or not the seller is a partner. Your payment is held until delivery is confirmed, and the dispute process is identical.

What it isn't
We'd rather be blunt about the limits of this badge than let it imply something it doesn't.
Not a guarantee of any listing
We partner with people, not with individual items. A partner's listing gets exactly the same scrutiny as anyone else's, and carries exactly the same buyer protection — no more, no less.
Not better placement
The badge has no effect on search or browse order. Partner listings rank on the same relevance, price and recency as every other listing. Nobody can buy their way up the page.
Not a rating
It says nothing about how good a seller is. Reviews, completed sales and the condition of the item are the things that tell you that, and they work the same way for everyone.
How a seller gets it
We grant it by hand, to a small number of people we actually work with. It isn't something you can apply for or buy, and it isn't awarded automatically for sales volume or ratings.
We can remove the badge at any time, and it goes when a partnership ends. If a partner breaks our terms, they face exactly the same consequences as any other seller.
