Turn spare parts into cash
List in minutes. Pay 7% + $0.40 on the first $3,750, then 3.5% on the amount above only when your item sells — no listing fees, no subscriptions. Held payments protect the sale, and payouts go straight to your bank.
The fee math, up front
One fee: 7% + 40¢ of the order total (item + shipping). Charged only when your item sells. Payment processing is included — there is no separate processing fee.
| You sell | Our fee | You keep | eBay (~13%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| A $500 GPU | $35.40 | $464.60 | ≈ $65 fee |
| A $3,000 full build | $210.40 | $2,789.60 | ≈ $390 fee |
Founding sellers pay 5% + $0.40 on the first $3,750, then 3.5% above for their first 6 months — that same $500 GPU costs just $25.40 to sell.
From signup to listed in one sitting
Three steps. Most sellers publish their first listing the same day they sign up.
Create your account
Free, takes about two minutes. No listing fees, no subscription — you owe nothing until something sells.
Verify with Stripe
Every seller here is identity-verified — it's why buyers trust the marketplace. Stripe (the payment processor behind Amazon and Shopify) collects your legal name, date of birth, address, last 4 of SSN, and a bank account for payouts. It's a federal requirement for receiving payments, it does not register you as a business, and SiliconExchange never sees any of it.
List your hardware
Search your exact model — GPU, CPU, RAM, motherboard, storage, PSU — and the specs fill in automatically from our component catalog. Add photos and condition notes, set your price, publish.
How you get paid
Held payments protect both sides: the buyer's money is committed before you ship, and it can't be pulled back out from under you.
Buyer pays — funds secured
The buyer's payment is captured immediately and held by SiliconExchange. You ship knowing the money is already there.
Ship within your stated handling time
Three business days by default, or set your own on the listing — promise next-business-day dispatch and your listing carries a speed badge. Buy a discounted carrier label right on the order — no card needed, the cost simply comes out of your payout — or use your own label. Either way, carrier tracking updates the order automatically. Selling local-pickup only? Skip shipping entirely: schedule the meetup on the order, and at the exchange enter the buyer's pickup code — your payout releases on the spot.
Buyer confirms delivery
Funds are released to you when the buyer confirms — or automatically after 14 days if they don't respond and no dispute is open.
Paid out weekly
Released funds land in your Stripe balance and pay out to your bank every Monday.
