Description

This is a for parts, as is RTX Pro 6000. Long story, short - the gpu will post, but it is unstable throwing Xid errors randomly in Linux. It can work for days/hours at a time or it can hang within minutes.

Longer story:
I made the unfortunate decision to attempt to waterblock an RTX Pro 6000. I knocked off one of the surface mount devices, and had it sent in for repair. The surface mount device was reattached. The core and two of vram modules were reballed as well. A month or so after repair, the card started throwing Xid errors (159/160) and some errors related to PCIe link stability. I sent it back for service to try and the errors could not be replicated by the repair shop; but they noted there was some PCIe instability. They did try to change the VBIOs; so there is a VBIO difference between the stick and what is currently on the card. Current VBIO is 98.02.52.00.02.

Other notes: The heat sink got damaged during repair and was replaced with a 5090 heat sink.

I have been in touch with Nvidia who denied the RMA, but said the Xid issues may be fixed in an upcoming driver update.

The card will be shipped, well packaged. An adult signature will be required on shipping. I am trying to value the card at Vram value and possibly a working core that will need to troubleshooting to make stable.

Reasonable offers will be considered.

Function check

Seller test, code-verified, Oct 25, 2026

The seller submitted a report from our test script carrying a one-time code we issued. It shows memtest_vulkan testing the card's memory for at least 6 minutes with no errors, and the memory and model it reports match this listing.

Device reported: NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition
Memory reported: 96 GB
Memory stress test: memtest_vulkan, 7 minutes, no errors

The seller ran it on their own computer and we didn't handle the card: we check what the report says, not how it was produced. It doesn't prove this exact card is the one that ships, and it doesn't check the power connector, thermal pads, memory modifications or cosmetic condition. Buyer protection applies as on any order.
